Suite au message de @wery sur le chat, quelques précisions!
Ceci est un tournoi personnalisé qui ne remplace pas les tournois bihebdomadaires organisés par Wordfeud League of Honour.
Si vous vous êtes inscrit par erreur, merci de me le faire savoir !
Si jamais vous vous êtes inscrit parce que vous pensiez vous réinscrire en tournoi, n´hésitez pas à suivre ce lien wordfeud.aasmul.net/Users.aspx

sometimes players sign up for a custom tournament because there´s a "Oui" button, which to them seems the only way to reconnect to the WLoH after LoBot (the league´s server) has deactivated them automatically for the "normal" league (due to too few results registered).
Such players need to be helped to
1) understand that this is not the regular WLoH tournament that they signed up to originally, but an additional mini tournament.
2) be given the link to their "Your page", where they can activate themselves for the next regular season:
wordfeud.aasmul.net/Users.aspx
(warning: should that be covered by an ad, press the back button, then try again)
3) understand that the only data connection from the app to the league is: players registering their app results, using the input boxes below the table.
4) be given the link to the Règles page:
wordfeud.aasmul.net/About.aspx
The rules will be displayed in the language which the players browser is set to use. If that language is not available, it defaults to English
Please do answer in French, and do translate the above as far as it seems sensible to you.
All YOUR participants should be able to understand what´s going on.
It´s just my *writing* skills in French that don´t match ...
PS: from their statistics, I guess that Rassoul Mamadou and manumanureva need some support

I´m afraid much more players of WF Deutsch use the "Forum" page to stay informed, than those in WF Français.
When my (even earlier than za!) alter ego, "BinSoe", was administrator in WF Deutsch, I tried my best to encourage folks to "read the wall" (...as opposed to writing there directly, which invariably creates a new thread )-:
I#m glad today´s admins there keep doing so.

Ok, thanks - maybe you´ll make even fewer mistakes than me (native german speaker ...).
You may want to bump your annoncement in wordfeud.aasmul.net/tema-13653
For that, just
1) go into that thread again,
2) copy your announcement
3) press the "Supprimer" button & wait for reloading
4) send (an edited version of, if needed) what you had copied
This way the announcement will potentially be seen by more players, without bloating the Forum with needless repetitions.

@ penrither: there´s no need & no way for yourself to initiate those mails.
LoBot should automatically send out mails when the tournament is started, either by reaching those 8 participants, or by you hitting the Start button for a premature start.
